Dog parks are not a new concept but the folks at Bar K take things to a whole new level by blending a fun park for dogs with a bar and food offering for humans. The park in Kansas city has been a huge success and two more locations are opening. You’ll be able to vist St Louis and Oklahoma City.

Bar K brings engaged, community-minded people and their dogs together to share connections with their pups and each other in a joyful and creative space. The really good news is that anyone without a dog is welcome to visit Bar K for free. This is ideal for people who are not able to own their own dog but who want meet some pups.

Dog owners can become members or buy a day pass to bring their pups along for a fun packed session. Once you discover one of their parks you will quickly be planning your next visit.

Bar K Dog Bar For Dogs

The whole place is built so as dogs have fun in a safe environment. That includes “on leash” and “off leash” areas as well as Bar K “dogtenders” who help ensure everybody has a good time. You’ll also find a special area for younger dogs and puppies who are only starting out in life.

Social Activities For Humans

While your dog is having fun socialising you can also unwind with a huge selection of drinks from the bar and some tasty food options. Dog themed cocktails and a tasty selection of craft beers on draft are a must try.

There are also a series of curated events on a regular basis. These include dogo (yoga with your dog), adoption meet ups, a running club and even trivia nights.
