The Corman Shepherd is a crossbreed of the German Shepherd and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi. These designer dogs are loyal, affectionate, and hard-working. There’s a lot to love about this mixed breed as they’re an excellent choice for any family. Also known as the Corgi German Shepherd or the German Corgi, this hybrid is versatile and adaptable. However, they’ll do better with an active family or an experienced dog owner.

Corman Shepherds are medium to large dogs, depending on which parent they take after the most. For instance, they can grow to be about 12 to 15 inches tall and weigh between 20 and 70 pounds. In addition, they have a double coat that can take after either parent breed. In fact, they can inherit a lot from their parents. For instance, some health issues may arise with your Corman Shepherd. So, you’ll want to bring them to the vet at least once a year for an annual checkup. With proper care, you can ensure that your Corman Shepherd will have an average lifespan of about 12 to 15 years.

Corman Shepherd – An Active Dog

First, this mixed breed requires a good hour of physical activity every day. They have high energy levels and will do well with various outdoor activities such as long walks, runs, hiking, and the like. In addition, the Corman Shepherd will love to do these activities with you. They can live in an apartment, but they’ll prefer to live in a bigger house with a fenced-in yard to themselves. Also, this dog breed sheds quite a bit. So, you’ll want to brush their coat at least two to three times per week to keep the shedding under control.

Overall, Corman Shepherds are intelligent and easy to train and socialize with. So, they’ll be great with young children, other dogs, and new people. Also, they’re loyal and affectionate with their family members.
