The Horgi is a crossbreed that’s part Siberian Husky and part Corgi. There’s a lot to love about this dog breed since it takes some of the best traits from both parent breeds. For example, the Horgi is fun-loving, spirited, and energetic. This doggo does well with active families, families with children and enjoys going on outdoor adventures. If you enjoy being active and want a jogging partner, then the Horgi might be the right choice for you.

For instance, Horgis are loyal and affectionate with their family members. Also, they’re great around young children, other dogs, and meeting new people. However, they need early socialization and training, as with any other dog breed. The Horgi can be wary of meeting new people without proper socialization. Luckily, this doggo is intelligent, and they’re easy to train. They love learning new things and are eager to please their owners. In addition, Horgis are not an aggressive breed.

Horgi – A High Energy Dog

Horgis are medium-sized dogs. For instance, they can grow to be about 12 to 15 inches tall and weigh between 20 and 50 pounds. In addition, they have a thick double coat that requires regular grooming. You can bring them to a professional grooming salon at least once a month for a clipping and bath. Alternatively, you can bathe them yourself at home for some bonding time. However, this doggo sheds a lot, so you’ll want to brush their coat at least once a day to keep it clean and to keep the shedding under control.

Also, this mixed breed has high energy levels and will need at least 60 minutes of physical activity per day. They won’t do well in an apartment and need a bigger house with a fenced-in yard. Also, they can inherit specific health issues from both parents, so bring them to the vet at least once a year for their annual checkup.
