The Labrabull is a crossbreed between the Labrador Retriever and the American Pit Bull Terrier. Also known as the Pitador, this dog breed initially comes from the United States. However, it’s unknown when this mixed breed was established. Originally bred as companion dogs, the Labrabull is still a great family companion dog today. For example, this hybrid is friendly, active, and sweet.

In addition, the Labrabull is loyal and affectionate with its family members. Also, they’re good around young children, other dogs, and meeting new people. However, they need early socialization and training. This doggo isn’t aggressive, but they might be wary of others at first. Overall, Labrabulls are easy to train, but they can be stubborn. Also, they might not be a good choice for first-time down owners. If needed, you can hire a professional dog trainer to help you.

Labrabull – A Big Dog To Manage

Labrabulls are medium-sized dogs, but they’re on the larger scale of medium dogs. In addition, males are typically bigger than females. For example, males can grow to be about 22 to 24 inches tall and weigh between 75 and 90 pounds. On the other hand, females can grow to be about 20 to 22 inches tall and weigh between 45 and 60 pounds. Also, they can look like either parent breed, but they’ll typically have a short and smooth coat. Luckily, they don’t require too much grooming. You’ll need to bathe them as needed, and you can bring them to a professional salon once in a while for a good cleaning. They shed a little bit, so you can also brush their coat once a week to keep it looking nice.

Finally, Labrabulls can inherit specific health issues from their parent breeds. So, you’ll want to bring them to the vet at least once a year for their annual checkup. Also, keep them up to date with their vaccinations. This dog breed has an average lifespan of about ten to 14 years with proper care.
