There’s a lot to love about the Cheagle pup. This doggo is a mixed breed of the Chihuahua and Beagle. They are small dogs, growing to be 14 inches tall and weighing no more than 20 pounds. This crossbreed didn’t exist until the late 1900s, so it’s still a fairly new hybrid. If you want to see how adorable this pooch is, check out the Cheagle photos shown below.
Given their size and easy-going temperament, Cheagles are great dogs for novice owners. They’ll also adapt well to apartment living. However, they do have higher energy levels. So, they’ll love to play and explore. Having a bigger house with a fenced-in yard will be good for them. They only need moderate exercise, though, since they’re smaller. A long walk easy day will be just fine with them.
Cheagles are intelligent though they have a mind of their own and can get easily distracted. So, training might be on the difficult side. You’ll need to keep it interesting for them. They’re a vocal crossbreed, so if you don’t want to listen to them excessive bark and howl, that can be fixed with training as well.
Overall, this hybrid is affectionate with their family members. They can get along with kids and other dogs, though they’ll need to grow up with them to be used to them.
