Chipin Photos

If you want to see some Chipin photos to know what they look like, we’ve got you covered.
The Chipin is a cross between the Chihuahua and Minature Pinscher. When purchasing a mixed dog, if you go through a breeder, you should be extremely careful. Backyard breeders are attracted to mixed breed dogs because it’s impossible to get AKC papers for them. That means it’s easier to fake the breed, or appear as a reputable, caring breeder when actually selling dogs with health issues.
If you do find a Chipin, however, they can be wonderful dogs!
Due to the small size of both breeds, you can expect this mix to be very small. They’ll have short coats which means their grooming needs are relatively low. There’s still some shedding though, so if you have allergies, don’t expect to be immune!
Friendly Dogs
They’re affectionate little dogs, but they can have a stubborn streak when you’re trying to train them. For this reason, you should start training and socialization early — as you should with any dog!
They’re also needy little companions who may be prone to separation anxiety. This is another thing you should work on early, but in general, they don’t do well with being left alone. If you need an independent dog who can tolerate eight hours a day alone, this may not be the breed for you. If you work from home and need a companion, however, they’re perfect!
