If you’ve never seen a Doberdor before, then you’re in luck. This crossbreed is a mixture of the Doberman Pinscher and the Labrador Retriever. There’s a lot to love about this beautiful breed, as they take some of the best qualities from both parent breeds. This hybrid is a large dog that will grow to be no more than 28 inches tall and weigh up to 100 pounds. Take a look at the Doberdor photos below to check out this beautiful pooch.
Since this doggo is large, they won’t do too well in an apartment setting. They’ll much prefer a house with a fenced-in yard to call their own and stretch their legs. This doggo has high energy levels and requires a lot of exercise each day. These working dogs prefer to have plenty of physical activity and mental stimulation.
A Large Active Dog
In fact, the Doberdor isn’t a great hybrid for novice dog owners. They are too active and are difficult to train. On the other hand, this pooch is independent and intelligent. They’re used to working and can have a mind of their own. However, they’re loyal to their family members and protective. Doberdors make excellent watchdogs and guard dogs.
With that said, this pooch requires socialization as well. They’re good with their family members, kids, and other dogs who live in the house. However, strangers or strange dogs and animals can be super protective and wary when it comes to strangers.
