When it comes to treating bad breath naturally, you will need to look for foods that can physically remove plaque and tartar, replace bad bacteria with good ones, have antibacterial properties, serves as a natural deodorizer, and improves digestion. You can find these qualities in the 5 foods listed below.

1. Carrots

Carrots make great snacks for dogs and serve as a natural toothbrush. The hard, crunchy texture will effectively scrape off plaque and tartar as your dog chews.

2. Coconut Oil
