Have you ever heard of a Labrastaff? This crossbreed is a mix of the Labrador Retriever and the Staffordshire Bull Terrier. Also known as Staffy Labs or Staffadors, this pooch is a large dog breed. They can grow up to 24 inches tall and weigh up to 75 pounds. In addition, their coat is dense, straight, and short in length that comes in three different colors. Grooming this crossbreed is fairly easy, especially if you opt-in to bring them to a professional grooming salon. Labrastaffs shed quite a bit, so brushing them two or three times per week will keep the loose hairs at bay.
If you can handle the shedding, this doggo takes a lot of great traits from both parent breeds. Labrastaffs are athletic, loyal, intelligent, and energetic. In addition, they’re easy to train. When it comes to meeting strangers or being around kids, Labrastaffs are a delight. However, they’re wary around other dogs and especially cats. Proper training and early socialization should nip that in the bud if needed.
