Mountain Feist Photos

If you’ve never heard of or seen a Mountain Feist before, then you’re in luck. This pooch is not only adorable, but they’re a small to medium-sized dog. They can grow to be up to 22 inches tall and weigh up to 30 pounds. They are also known as the Treeing Feist, American Treeing Feist, American Feist, or the Mountain Terrier. To see this doggo for yourself, you can take a look at the Mountain Feist photos shown below.
This pooch has a short and smooth coat that can come in quite a few different colors. They’re average shedders, despite the length of their coats. Luckily, Mountain Feists are easy to groom. All you need to do is brush them weekly to keep the loose hair under control.
The Mountain Feist was bred to be a hunting dog. So, they have a high prey drive. In other words, if you have smaller animals or cats in your house, beware. You’ll need to train and socialize this pooch not to chase them properly. Also, since they’re used to hunting, they have high energy levels. Mountain Feists need a long, daily walk or jog to keep themselves fit and happy. They’ll be fine in an apartment but would rather have a fenced-in yard to call their own.
