If you didn’t think you could mix a Pomeranian with a Siberian Husky, well, you’d be surprised. The Pomsky is just that. This particular hybrid loves to be the center of attention. As a result, they take some of the best traits from both of their parent breeds. Pomskies can be small to medium-sized dogs that can grow between ten and 15 inches tall and weigh between seven and 38 pounds. In addition, they have an average lifespan of 12 to 15 years. This pooch can live in an apartment or a bigger house with a fenced-in yard. However, they have moderate energy levels and exercise needs. In addition, they love to bark and howl, thanks to their Husky ancestry. In fact, Pomskies might be a better option for experienced dog owners. However, this pooch is intelligent and can be stubborn, so that training might be difficult. In addition, they’re affectionate with their family, but they’ll need plenty of socialization to get used to young children, other dogs, and strangers.

Also, they have long, heavy coats, thanks to both parent breeds. While the Pomsky is easy to groom, they will shed a considerable amount. So, daily brushing will be ideal.
