If you’re looking to add a small dog breed to your family, then you can look no further than the Shih-Poo. This pooch is a crossbreed of the Shih Tzu and the Toy Poodle. Also known as the Shoodle or Pooshi, this doggo is hypoallergenic, lovable, and cuddly. They can grow up to 18 inches tall and weigh up to 18 inches. In addition, their average lifespan is about 13 to 17 years or more. To learn more about this awesome hybrid, then take a look at the Shih-Poo photos shown below.

The Shih-Poo inherited some of the best traits from both of its parent breeds. They’re adaptable, living in an apartment or a bigger house with a fenced-in yard. Luckily, they have moderate energy levels, so daily walks are good for them, but you won’t need to keep them entertained all the time. However, Shih-Poos loves to be showered with attention. So, expect to have a shadow follow you around during the day. They won’t tolerate being alone for too long since they’ll get separation anxiety.

If you have to work all day, having a dog walker come in or attending doggy daycare will be good for them. However, they’ll need proper training and plenty of socialization. Shih-Poos are open to meeting strangers, but not so much when it comes to other dogs.
