Can you guess which dog breeds make up a Shiranian? They are also known as the Pomshi, Shih-Pom, Shih-A-Pom, and Pom-Tzu. That’s right. This doggo is a crossbreed of the Shih Tzu and the Pomeranian. They take some of the best traits from their parent breeds. This small pooch can grow to be up to 12 inches tall and weigh up to 16 pounds. In addition, they have an average lifespan of 12 to 16 years. If you’re interested in learning more about his small pup, then take a look at the Shiranian photos shown below.

Shiranians are a versatile hybrid. They can live in an apartment or a bigger home with a fenced-in yard. In addition, they’ll fit in with any family. For instance, they’re affectionate with family members, good with young children, and good with other dogs. They’re open to meeting new people, too. However, this pooch loves to be doted on most of the time and doesn’t tolerate being home alone too much. So, a retired senior might be the best choice for this pooch.

The Shiranian doesn’t shed much, requires little grooming, and doesn’t have high energy levels. Therefore, a daily walk is needed to keep them healthy and fit. Otherwise, they’ll be more than happy to be a lapdog and enjoy your company.
