The Whoodle, also known as the Wheatendoodle, is a mixed breed of the Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier and the Poodle. They are medium-sized, growing to be between 14 and 20 inches tall and weighing between 20 and 45 pounds. Also, they have an average lifespan of 12 to 15 years. There’s a lot to love about this crossbreed, so if you want to learn more, then check out the Whoodle photos shown below.
Whoodles have a medium coat that’s curly. They require a lot of grooming, but they don’t shed too much, making them a hypoallergenic breed. In addition, they love the water. Thanks to their tight curls, the coat is almost waterproof. Since the Whoodle is a hyper dog, swimming is a great activity to help them curb their energy.
Overall, this mixed breed makes an excellent family companion dog. For instance, they’re affectionate with their family members, are great with young children, and great with other dogs. They might be wary of meeting new people, though. Luckily, they’re easy to train and known for being friendly and outgoing. However, this doggo can get anxious. They’re prone to separation anxiety, so if you can’t be home for most of the day with them, getting a dog walker to check in on them is ideal. Not only will this help your pooch feel like they’re not alone, but it will also allow them to get some much-needed exercise during the day.
