We want to fix the global street dog problem

Through sterilization, feeding, and emergency medical care for street dogs, we plan to make life better for stray dogs around the world.

The Happy Doggo story

Meet some of our Happy Doggos

Here are just a few of the dogs that we've helped, whose lives and stories have captivated people all over the world. It's these dogs that make us do the work we do.

Tina

If one dog could change the world, it's Tina. Rescued after a lifetime of mistreatment, Tina was the sweetest and most loving dog you could ever meet.

Her life with us was too short, but her memory and legacy will live on in Tina's Hospital.

Hope

The first ever Happy Doggo to be adopted, Hope came to us after being slashed by a machete and shot with a nail gun.

She had completely shut down. But with a lot of love and patience, Hope is now living an incredible life in the UK.

Whacker

Whacker (or King Whacker) was found with a gaping wound to his head. Someone had hit him with a pick-axe, and they were a few milimetres away from killing him.

He's now enjoying life in Glasgow with his little brother Cooper.

Ways to get involved

We’re growing really quickly and there’s a lot happening behind the scenes. For now, the best way to get involved is to subscribe to our newsletter.

Can I volunteer or work for you?

We can't host volunteers in Thailand yet, but for any other offers please email volunteer@happydoggo.com. And if you're traveling home from Bangkok, we're always looking for flight volunteers to take dogs to their forever homes.

How do I adopt a dog?

Our priority will always be feeding and sterilising, but in some cases, we just can't return a dog to the streets. Here's where you'll find our adoptable dogs.

We're always in need of local fosters in Thailand, so if you think you can house a dog for 1-3 months, please email adopt@happydoggo.com.

Hope: how street dogs taught me the meaning of life

Late last year, I was approached by Harper Collins UK to write a book, and it's coming out this summer. My whole mission is to raise awareness of street dogs around the world, and this just felt right. I can't think of a better way than having people pick up a copy and read about Rodney, King Whacker, McMuffin, and the rest of the gang.

100% of the proceeds from the sale of this book will go directly to the dogs. I've poured my heart and soul into this and it would mean the world to me to have your support.

FAQs

The most commonly asked questions about how to support or work with Happy Doggo.

Can I volunteer or visit in Thailand?

Unfortunately not. We are currently in the process of building a new facility and focused on expanding our sterilization efforts, but we plan to have a volunteer program in the future.

Can I work for Happy Doggo?

We are building out a global team to support our mission, and we will post any available jobs on the Happy Doggo social media accounts, as well as this website. Please keep an eye out for opportunities!

Where can I buy Happy Doggo merch?

At the moment, the Happy Doggo store is closed! We really appreciate all of the support on our previous launch, and we'll be reopening with new merch in late 2024.
