As a global charity, Happy Doggo - and the associated dogs - are increasingly recognisable.As such, we get various requests to use our logo and dogs’ images (brand) both for business purposes and to raise money for Happy Doggo.
While we are hugely grateful for people who want to fundraise on our behalf, we have to ensure that these efforts don’t (advertently or inadvertently):
1. Damage the Happy Doggo brand
2. Discourage supporters from supporting Happy Doggo directly
3. Direct revenue streams away from Happy Doggo
4. Mislead supporters into thinking 100% of their support is going to Happy Doggo when that is not the case
5. Mislead supporters into thinking they are directly supporting Happy Doggo when that is not the case
Examples of using the Happy Doggo brand are:
1. The Happy Doggo logo
2. The Happy Doggo name
3. Images and likenesses of Niall Harbison or any of the Happy Doggo team
4. Images and likenesses of any of the Happy Doggo dogs past and present
5. Images and likenesses of Happy Doggo land
6. The Happy Doggo name, Niall Harbison’s name, or current Happy Doggo canine residents’ names
Examples of the usage of Happy Doggo’s brand and likenesses include:
1. Paintings, drawings and digitally created images
2. Items of clothing (eg: t-shirts and bags)
3. Homeware (eg: mugs and cushions)
